GOODS-IN-TRANSIT INSURANCE AND RISK MANAGEMENT
Offshore Freight maintains Goods-In-Transit (GIT) insurance to provide additional protection for cargo transported under its management. This insurance forms part of the company's broader risk management framework, giving customers confidence that cargo movements are supported by insurance protection, operational controls and professional execution.
The company's current road transport risk protection includes Goods-In-Transit coverage of up to USD 3,000,000, with individual movement cover structured according to applicable policy terms and cargo declarations. In addition to insurance, Offshore Freight uses GPS monitoring, cargo visibility processes, journey planning, driver controls and customer updates to reduce risk throughout the transport cycle.
